Play That Funky Music White Girl
I have been a Paul Oakenfold fan for many years. Back in the days right after college he got me through many of raves. Today I was looking around My Space for his music when I noticed that he is about to release a new album. I played his latest song "Faster Kill Pussycat" and was immediately hooked. That's a damn good song. Well guess what? The woman singing on there is none other than Brittany Murphy. The same girl who was slightly overweight and awkward in Clueless. The same girl who was doing it with Eminem and countless other dudes in 8 Mile. I have to say, she has a hell of a sexy voice on this song. You can hear it here.

Oakenfold has always been a little too mainstream for me... give me Pop Will Eat Itself, Meat Beat Manifesto or Sabres of Paradise for some good all night dance action.

While totally not like my typical musical preferences, I like Paul Oakenfold too. Like the song a lot! I think I will need to make a purchase...
I know & I liked her better fat- not that she was ever fat, except by Hollywood standards. I'd say she was normal. But now she's just annoying & I have to hate her. Sad really... knowing that at one time she had potential to be normal.
LOVE Clueless! LOVE Brittany Murphy, especially in "Riding in Cars with Boys," as Faye. I'd hang out with her...
