So Close I Can Almost Feel the Melanoma

The last few weeks have been absolutely CRAZY, and I’m not talking Christmas shopping. That’s all done. Thank god for the internet! I have been working insane hours & days just trying to wrap things up before Christmas. But guess what? I’m almost done! And, as an added bonus, I managed to sign up a new client today! And I’m not even in sales.

I only work 4 days this week & then we’re off to southern CA to visit our parents/families. The best part is, it was 74 degrees there today, and it’s expected to be at least 70 the whole time we’re there. Which is awesome because we got snow here over the weekend, for the first time in 2 years. It has warmed up to the low 40s since then, but I’m all about the 70 degrees. Time to dust off the flip flops!!! There’s nothing like a SO CAL Christmas in the sunshine. I think my skin will probably go into shock.

After we get back, I’m on vacation. Yipeee!!! I took off the week between Christmas & New Year’s. Which is perfect, because we’re hosting a New Year’s party. I have tons of time to plan & decorate. We decided on a Spanish wine/tapas/sangria theme. I love tapas, they’re the perfect little meal. Plus we have tons of vegetarians coming, and there are lots of veggie tapas recipes out there. But really, it’s just an excuse to drink sangria.
