Pet Buddy

I am a victim of an infomercial. I have never bought anything featured in an extended length TV commercial. On Sunday Ben & I were enjoying our own Easter celebreation. It involved drinking Sunny Delight & vodka. I'm sure my Polish ancestors were very proud of me. At the peak of drunkedness a commercial came on for the Pet Buddy. It's a vacuum for your dog. If your dog sheds (like mine does year-round), you plug the Pet Buddy into your vacuum. The Pet Buddy has a super long hose so that the vacuum can sit in another room. That way the vacuum noise doesn't freak out your dog. So you basically vacuum your dog with this thing. We were so freakin drunk & excited that I was ordering the thing online before the commercial was even over. Just as I was going to hit "submit order" Ben yells out "Don't forget to have it overnighted." But of course, that seems so logical.

So yesterday the UPS man knocks on our door and brings us this huge box. We both look at eachother like "What did you order now?" We had no recollection at all. Then we opened the box and saw "Pet Buddy" written on a sheet of paper inside. We both looked at eachother and just started cracking up. We had completely forgotten.

Luckily the Pet Buddy does what it says, and got Sophie pretty shed-free. We also managed to clean up the couch of dog hair as well. But I can't believe I paid money to have it sent overnight. I blame you, Belvedere Vodka!
