Did We Skip a Season?

The weather here in Portland has been a little off lately. My favorite season is fall. I love the chilly evenings, lovely sunsets and the changing of the leaves. But in the last week the weather has not been very pretty. Oh sure it rained for 13 straight days. It’s Portland after all. But what’s up with it being 32 degrees in the morning? I mean, it’s not even Thanksgiving and I’m scraping ice off my windshield. That’s not fair. I would like fall back, please. Can somebody arrange this for me? I would really appreciate it.

Oh, and this part is just for Stacy. I have been wanting to adjust my diet a little bit to include more grains & fiber and stuff like that. Basically, oatmeal was getting old and yogurt gave me an upset stomach. So I was at the foo-foo grocery store the other day and looked down the cereal aisle when I saw all of the various Kashi products. Immediately I thought “What would Stacy do?” So I looked at the Heart Smart because you recommend it so highly. After reading about a dozen different labels, I finally settled on the 7 Grain Honey Puffs. So I have a bowl at work everyday with some soy milk (I think I’m developing an intolerance for lactose.) Well, let me tell you. Besides being pretty darn tasty, I have never been so regular. Seriously! It’s like freakin clockwork! Finish the cereal, and walk to the bathroom. Fantastic! I love predictability. So when you meet me in person one of these days you can say, “I don’t know much about that girl, but I do know that she’s very regular.”

I eat Kashi heart to heart and 2.3 minutes after I am spending time in the bathroom...everyday...I think my bowl of cereal and bananna each morning is my favorite meal,it is so filling.I have mine with soymilk too.It is so rich and the little bit of fat will help absorb the nutrients...I actualy have kashi on my favorites list on my computer...their trans fat free crackers are so yummy...
