Being at home sick, I have been glued to the coverage from New Orleans and all of the areas affected by the hurricane. It is overwhelming to me seeing people just wandering aimlessly on what used to be busy streets and freeways filled with cars. Every time a reporter interviews somebody, that person pleads with them to bring help. I've seen reporters being overwhelmed with emotion in talking to these victims. People are walking around with a baby in one hand and a sign that says "Help Us" in another. Just now they showed a moving van pulling up. At first it looked like it was delivering something. Then people started getting into the van and not coming out. Apparently they are being shipped out to somewhere safer. Unbelievable. It's like a 3rd world country out there. I can't even imagine.
